What makes a good Webflow agency?

Six things you can check before you sign

• Live Webflow sites with real timelines. Ask for URLs and for how long each took. Ours: 4 Madeira Place in two weeks, Profrakt in three weeks from designs to launch, The Pacifica Penthouse in four.
• CMS planned before the build. Collections, fields, references and templates should be defined first, because they are hard to change once pages depend on them. This is step two of our process.
• A site your team can edit after handoff. Reusable classes, predictable templates and handoff notes matter more than how the homepage looks on launch day.
• Care with existing content. On a migration, ask how URLs, titles and redirects are preserved.
• Custom code when Webflow alone is not enough. Interaction is where agencies differ most.
• Payment terms. Fixed prices per phase, stated before work starts, with no deposit to chase.

Migration: ask for numbers

For A1 Sure Services we moved a WordPress and Divi site to Webflow with all 155 blog posts on their original URLs, 34 verified 301 redirects for everything retired and no broken links at launch. An agency that has done this will give you its own equivalent figures.

Motion and custom code

Ask any agency what it has shipped beyond the Designer, and whether the client can still edit the content afterwards.
